I have a USAA account but have never used it for anything. Honestly, their rates are higher than Geico or Progressive and their banking is nothing special. Never understood the novelty of USAA.
Somehow though, I have USAA/Progressive for my motorcycle insurance. I think Progressive is the main agent, and USAA just gives me a discount for being an old retired fart.
Their auto, homeowners and landlord insurance still can't compete, and there are TONS of Bank of America's around.
