Back in the paper log book days before trucks were tracked via satellite, I knew a few drivers that would wear condom catheters so they could drive without stopping. One of the drivers who was coming back for time off would usually pickup a load on the East Coast and drive non-stop, except for fuel stops, all the way back to our terminal in Salt Lake so he would have an extra couple days off. That scared me a little bit I must confess.

This was quite common in Europe for drivers shipping late 90's Sun Microsystems "StarFire" computers. They were worth millions at the time and several were hijacked for their CPU's. They then had to have two drivers with external catheters and no stopping. Crazy to think a little 4" high server will cream one of these mammoth machines today.
