I was looking at a beautiful CB1100 to buy, while out on the test ride, maybe 15+ mph around a rotary-like thing, the front tire decided it no longer wanted to remain in contact with the ground. Conditions were mid-day, sunny, clear, absolutely nothing on the surface of the road but a little hump. Down I went. I had already decided I loved the bike, so I of course purchased it anyway. The machine is gorgeous, the seller clearly had done a tremendous job keeping it in pristine condition. In addition to being a new owner of a CB1100, I'm also the owner of a fresh new broken rib. Anyway, that's my story.
Oh good. Oh no!! Ouch, Sorry. You know when they came up with, "Laughter is the best medicine," they forgot the asterisk for rib injuries.
Heal well, sir!
