Actually thought about this thread last night. Took the Interceptor to meet a friend for dinner in our "Old Town" section. There's a large traffic circle with a central plaza, and on one of the quadrants, there's a large painted triangle that riders tend to use for parking. In the dark, I had rolled up to a spot that had a dip in the pavement near a sewer grate.
As I put my side stand down, I noticed that the bike started to lean over more than normal... I stood her back up, and looked down. I was along the edge of the dip in pavement and thought that when I came back to the bike later, full and tired on a cold night, I wouldn't be thinking about anything but getting home quickly, and I'd forget that I'd be riding through a dip from that parking spot.
Moved the bike over a bit before I walked away to go meet my friend.
