During my ride home tonight there was no squealing. There was only one brief squeal today, during the cool of the early morning. It was much warmer during the ride home. I'm thinking the ambient temperature may have something to do with it, since most of the worst squealing occurred in the cold.
Unless the squealing has well and truly gone away by then, I'll probably switch to EBC HH pads with my first tire change. I'll definitely grease the backs and file the edges again.
