How good is the CB 1100?

Just to add to this, I'm with Riko in believing that the build quality of the CB1100 is not all it has been cracked up to be. For a bloke like me who spends way more time riding my bike than caring for it, the spots of rust that have developed because the parts are not really fit for purpose are very irritating. So, too, the quality of the engine paint that has meant it has worn off in ugly patches. Some is certainly due to road-inflicted damage, but some of it is simply because the paint was not up to the job. Mercifully, the engine keeps running well and the alloy wheels have not collapsed.

That's sad but true as far as my 2013 CB is concerned and a shame for Honda. Here and there I do some repaint with a heatresistend silver colour.

But as long as the CB functions well and she does, this is only a cosmetic problem I take care of and try to keep the Honda good looking.

Apart from this the CB is very good after fixing the fuel injection software problem with an update. Don't regret having bought the CB.
