Funny you should post this today. I just happened to torque the front wheel off the ground this morning on the way to work.

When heading to work, there's a stop sign at the end of my neighborhood street that meets a major six lane street. I generally take a right onto that street and join the throngs of workbound cages. One of the things I often do (on the CB750 and now the CB11) is to goose the throttle coming out of the turn and see if I can match speeds with the other traffic (going about 45-50 mph) before they get more that a car length or two ahead.

I've been taking it easy with the CB11, but this morning I let her loose. I started rolling on the throttle coming out of my right turn and the front wheel torqued up off the ground a few inches and stayed there until I shifted. I was a little bit surprised, as the CB750 never does that. I definitely wasn't trying to float the front wheel.

Kinda reminded me of my old Kaw 750 twin. That bike was low on hp, but hit its torque peak at just over 2500 rpm. Inadvertent wheelies were not uncommon when the throttle was goosed.
