Thanks for the feedback on the hip guys. I've been flip-flopping on this decision for months, which is really unlike me. On the one hand I really want to get back to normal (whatever that is), on the other I'm constantly reading about lawsuits over the prosthetics etc. Of course even with insurance this won't be cheap...I just finished paying the bills from the crash.

One thing I learned from all this: when the day does come when I know I won't be able to ride anymore, I'm going to be a miserable bucko.
