Daniel, it'll be a great time but you'll probably encounter lots of summer traffic. All of the high passes will be open by then, so no worries. Keep one eye on the road and the other eye on the sky, because storms can and do pop up unexpectedly at higher elevations.
Ferret, we rode the Peak-to-Peak Highway to Estes Park and then entered Rocky Mountain National Park and rode Trail Ridge Road to Grand Lake, but I believe both Offroad and I had to cough up $20 to enter the park. I think your pass got the three of us to Mt. Evans for free.
