Thanks for sharing Rocky. You are one tough hombre! I lived in rural Areas of Peru for work for 12.5 years and still commute back and forth for work, so I have probably 16 plus years in Peru.

You were lucky as medical care is poor in rural areas. Cusco is probably the best of the mountain cities for care. Lima is behind North America care. I am so happy the locals helped you. There are many cases where they leave injured people to die and rob. Very sad situation. Luckily you were conscious.

You are my hero and I hope I can do the same at 70.
