Hiram, I'm glad you've recovered from the 'flu. Take heart: six days isn't bad in the modern world. The 'flu is induced by a virus and can linger for anything up to six weeks. Still, taking a ride on the CB is not such a bad way to reconnect with the pleasant things in life.

I was so excited at the idea that any place could be called 'Yeehaw Junction' that I googled it and found this:

Finally, forgive my ignorance, but what's a New York second? Do they measure time differently there?
