Grinton, thanks for the information about Italian history and the trip photos. Due to the Italians being on the other side during the North African campaigns WW2, quite a few Italian POW ended up in Australia some were paroled to farmers here in Gippsland. They were repatriated back to Italy at wars end as POW they needed to go home Italy first. Many of them migrated back in the post war years with the passage of time not many of that generation are with us. I guess that ties in with your introduction regarding the passage of time. My brother rides a Guzzie and his mates ride Beemers a recently retired fella from work rides a Bonneville. Hondas are scarce around here apart from the quad bikes that the farmers use to date I haven't seen another CB1100. my question whats the make up of bike as you ride in Italy are they mainly European makes?
