Reminds me of my youth. I grew up in a similar sized town in southeastern Montana. Did not see bull riding until I went to the state fair in Billings. We just had broncs to offer up (may have changed now; have no idea).

Your rodeo grounds look newer though - painted even. How posh!

Kids got to chase pigs and sheep to gain experience rounding up critters. The young pretty girls in the barrel racing was always my favorite and to this day nothing pretties up a gal better than a good cowboy hat. sigh....
