Excellent ride and report, Cormanus.

I still remember the pleasant odor of eucalyptus trees when I lived in the San Francisco area 30+ years ago. Interestingly, there is a town called Brisbane south of the city near San Bruno mountain.

The Australian meat pie looked good!

I do remember the floods of Brisbane reported on the news here and it's hard to believe that was 5 years back. Time does fly. Have they done anything to prevent another flood of that magnitude or did they classify it as is commonly done here as a "100 year flood" so let's not worry about it.

The photo of the Brisbane valley looks similar to vistas I see from "mountains" in Massachusetts.
