I like the sound of my 2017 EX. Not obnoxious, but certainly not Honda like.
I cleaned and waxed the chain on mine a couple of days back. The shiny metal chain guard is easy to remove (two bolts) and cleans quickly inside with chain cleaner. Having the guard off makes it easier to wax the chain as well.
