Authorities are wising up to aftermarket pipes so enforcement is going to be very spotty across the nation. Europe is very strict about after market products (Germany makes you get a waiver, waiver depends on money, the inspector and the quality of the bit you wish to use; a bit too much of leeway but there you go). Naturally; places with high population densities that could create a lot of calls to the mayor's office about loud bikers will be more problematic than low density areas where it may be the mayor with the loud bike.

So it is in your self interest to play nice out there so you stay off the radar. If you're off the radar WE are off the radar (we all look alike to the non-riding public) and they won't feel motivated to enforce the laws on the books. Yet. Don't give them an excuse.
