I get the feeling once it gets to the Honda dealer, the insurance company's estimate may get laughed out of the shop. Pretty sure a Honda dealer won't let it leave without full and safe functionality for liability reasons.
I can see my insurance company coming back and saying, "Um ... never mind ... here's your check."
Now one option instead of selling it is to turn it into a Riders Share rental ... thus a little income generator on the side.
