However, that's not to say that I won't be out on my 29 year old BMW R100GS. She cleans up nicely, and has a patina from nearly 160,000 miles of riding. Both the GS and Guzzi 1200 Sport needed new batteries. Done. Also, a couple oz of Stabil in the fuel tanks, followed by a fill up with 93 octane.
The Weather Channel showed a temp of 58F this afternoon, but let me tell you, it was one cool 58 degrees! I put in 45 miles on the GS, but it now gets dark here at shortly after 5pm, so I headed for home. It was good to get in a few miles on this great old machine.
