...the Moriwaki skid pads? I'm wondering if it's possible to rest your feet on them to relax your legs on a long expressway jaunt.

I'm also drooling over the ChicDesign long front fender (in chrome). The standard, stubby CB1100 fender is definitely NOT retro. I love the clutch cover with the window in it. Serves no purpose, but would be cool to watch your clutch spinning around - only when stopped, of course. Reminds me of the see-thru bevel drive cover all the Ducati guys put on their bikes in the good old days before Ducati went rubber.

I have this and no it does not let you rest your feet on them.
I rest my feet on mine on longer rides. Its more my heel, otherwise you risk your boot sitting on the engine covers and I don't know how hot it takes to melt anything, I don't really want to find out. The're not purposed highway pegs, but they get your feet in a different position for a while and I find my boots don't slip off them like I thought they would. It's not the best riding position but it's a welcome change. I actually find putting one foot on the the skid pad and leaving the other on the peg is a nice change for a while, it gets you sitting in the saddle quite differently than both feet on the skid pads.
