It’s not a matter of being able to or not.
I’ve adjusted or checked the valves on all of my bikes.
Just don’t feel like doing it on this one at the moment, and seems less urgent than another brand might be, particularly when no Honda I’ve ever ridden has actually needed an adjustment.
The discussion of what one can and can’t do reminds me of building a new garage door, one of my pandemic projects.
Neighbors came around to see what I was doing.
“I’m building a new garage door.”
“You can just build your own garage door?”
“Well yeah… it’s just wood and nails.”
