John's post also made me overthink the motorbike situation I created and find myself in, still some years to live until I'm eighty. Riding the CB after having read his words brought me into a different mindset. Is the CB heavy? Yes, it is. Can I handle it safely all the time? Yes, think so. Do I love keep riding it? I do. Will I do something like body fitness to make this last as long as possible? I will try.
Don't know when my time comes to say goodbye to the bike. I hope not too soon. The only think that lately was able to destroy this hope a bit was the dying battery and so a dead bike. I had to bring the CB over a few steps to the backyard of the house where I live. It wasn't easy, though I managed to do it, but the weight of the CB nearly got me, without her motor running and me riding the Honda, which makes the whole deal much easier.
The lightest and easiest to handle of my bikes is the Bullet. Maybe it will stay with me for the longest time until I'm gone, if it keeps running.
