How in the heck did your dealer find that? interesting. Glad you're back on the road Kevin.

Well I did not believe it either so I went in and asked if they could show me. The technician was very good and actually works on Ducati's but was given my bike to work on and to his credit he obviously thoroughly checked it out. He basically held the back wheel from the side at 10 and 4 o'clock and twisted the wheel back and forth and as we did this the chain loosened and tightened. So I give him full credit as I'm sure if this had been found at the next service, warranty would not have covered it..I still have my surge which I think is a "lean cruise" surge but I had not noticed it until after the 12K service when the valve clearances were checked, so I'm beginning to think that maybe my riding style has changed as I'm gaining confidence with the bike and I also maybe riding it a bit differently..or just tuning into it more
