I wouldn’t even worry about it Rhino, just put the milage on a sticker as mentioned above. If you ever sell it, I would bet NC has provisions for vehicles with actual vs. indicated mileage. Va. does. It’s not uncommon as cars go over 100K or whatever.
You could call the DMV and see if the dealer or police or DMV cv needs to annotate the actual mileage before the swap. You know, an official check.
