The only mod was creating a stop pad on the left of the bike where the center stand comes up.i drilled a hole in the left rear aluminum clip,put a bolt through it and through a 3 inch by 1 inch piece of stainless to catch the center stand as it comes up and glued a piece of black round rubber on the bottom of the stainless to eliminate any vibration from the two contact points. Pretty basic really and doesn't look like a cheap install.Its much better than a welded leg on the inside of your muffler like the stock pie has. Really ugly design.if you get this pipe you won't even need a link pipe,and you definitely won't regret the purchase. The sound is awesome .
