I have the Givi E55 and did a quick internet search and found that maybe your problem is a spring. Apparently there are 2 that can cause the problem. And Givi doesn’t sell them separately ( I’d call them anyway though) If that is your problem I think I would try to find a spring that would work.

Luckily I haven’t had problems with mine yet.
