Put bike on centerstand

I'm with Meowguy. I leave the sidestand down as an out in case something goes wrong (though it never has). I could see something happening, like my foot slipping off the centerstand arm during the lift. if the sidestand is down at least I have a chance by pulling the bike toward me.

Why doesn't the CB 1100 Manual suggest that operation.?
To put the sidestand down and then lift the centerstand.
Probably because it doesn't work.In fact,it really makes
the entire operation near impossible.

Why doesn't the CB 1100 Manual suggest that operation.? Well, lots of things are not described at all or in detail in the manual. E.g. I did not find in my CB 1100 manual how to get onto my motor bike. So does this mean that it is impossible?

Impossible? Well, then I am doing nearly daily impossible things with my CB 1100. I am great...
