I already pack shattered ceramic from spark plugs in my pocket as well as steel bearings, ride aggressively (in a defensive manner) and keep my head on a swivel. I've just found that revving tends to scare people back into their lane. The rest of my...methods..are for those that decide to get a bit frosty.
I dont wanna take the " room temperature challenge" because people don't look for bikers lol
Btw, the GP exhaust I'm looking at is from Radiant cycles. I'm hearing mixed reviews. Not sure if it will lean the bike out too much or not....
Personally, I find it hard to even reach for the horn when I'm in the midst of a defensive maneuver and have both hands on the bars in a "death grip"!
I admit that some car and truck drivers have made me quite angry or even made me fear for my life, but, when exactly would you be reaching into your pocket to find your "anti-personnel shrapnel"? Do you eject it like fighter jet chaff in anticipation of an accident? Or, do you wait for an opportune moment to exact vengeance on a tin canner (who, in most cases, was probably just inattentive). If the latter, then that just encourages hatred of bikers. What happens the next time they see you in traffic? And, hopefully, I won't be travelling the same road after you have littered it with ball bearings!
...sorry if this sounds "preachy", but I'm getting older and crankier...and apparently of the same mind as LongRanger!
