I trust members with seat of their pants experience much more than any manual and much more than any service manager recommendation. Oil pressure problems have occurred in FL, HI, AZ, MA, NY WI average median temps are so different in these location and don't come into play. They circulation of oil in these bikes is the problem and would not be surprised five yrs down the road to start creating problems. If Honda made a 5W-20 for motorcycle's i would be putting that in my bike. I considering going to Lucas 5W-20 on my next change.
