I don't know about Gerbing, however, most competing brands allow the rider to easily swap out the battery when it is depleted. I have noticed many competing glove batteries are charged via a proprietary charger arrangement. Given these batteries are LiON (or similar composition), I am unsure if the charging profile management is done at the wall wart or shrink-wrapped within the battery module. This would have to be understood before retrofitting a LiON charger to the 12V system of the CB. There could be some electronic finagling involved. You definitely don't want a battery to catch fire (a chemical fire) while wearing it.
