I do have my favorite trees and bushes.. that brings up another good point with my customized heated gloves.. picture yourself fighting with a zipper with gloves on.. impossible.. so the gloves, at least one must come off.. if the wires run up the sleeves of your jacket, one must disconnect them at the glove.. kinda hard to do with gloves on.. with my system, you just pull to a stop take each glove off and lay them on the handlebar grips.. you could even "leave them running" if all you are doing is a quick stop.. boy, does that feel good, putting on a nice toasty glove after exposing your hands to the wintry chill..when my buddy stops by my shop, I want to do a little video of how easy it all is.. no audio is really needed..

I took it over to the coast, about 250 miles, yesterday and back today and was very happy with the additional improvement.
Don't get me wrong, the PS2 alone was a big improvement, but especially at freeway speeds the spoiler works very well. I am done with aerodynamics.
Hopefully Chuckk will chime in.
Here are a couple of shots I got on my return ride today.
It looks funky as opposed to the retro cool (in my opinion) look of the unadorned PS2, but makes the ninety minutes or so of 70 to 75 mph I traverse to get TO the road to the coast much nicer. I can put up with biplane bifocals.
Ben
so by buffeting, you mean wind coming around the windshield? .. how tall are you.. it must be coming over the top if your add-on solves the problem I'm thinking.. I am 5' 11" ..I have experimented by stretching my neck, if you will, as high as I could to catch wind over the top and I have succeeded .. but there is a comfortable margin before I start feeling the wind..
