Interesting Bob. I have ridden a bunch of lonely roads out in Montana, Idaho, and Washington. Not much out there lol.

Man I still need to do North & South Dakota. Maybe next year.

(also those 4 seaboard states over by you..RI, Conn, Delaware, and New Jersey) to complete my lower 48

Going from South Dakota to North Dakota was very lonely! Lots of "little farm towns" with no services. Had to stop and ask the one person I saw outside on the town street where to buy gas ... he gave me some crazy butt directions that finally got me to another town's self serve that was closed (but could still buy gas) ... 50+ yellow jackets descended on my windshield to feast on all the dead stuff. Very pretty farm land, but issolated
