Riding for 2 hours at 30 mph you're going risk permanent hearing damage. I haven't ridden nearly as much as many on this forum but I have low-level tinnitus to which my riding must have contributed. Some helmets may be quieter than others, but none of them will save you from long-term hearing damage.
