I feel your pain and desire...
If I desperately wanted the DLX, I would place an ad for one, willing to pay top $$$ for top unit, travel to get it, and then sell existing CB.
If you buy a wreck, many parts you need might be unless, so trips to a dealer will be expen$ive.
You may consider alternate bike, if this is an option..??
