The chrome trim and round bezel are held on with three small black screws which I removed to replace a scratched trim. Be careful removing these, the screws are VERY tight so a perfect fit screwdriver is essential to avoid rounding out the screw heads.

Before completing the re-assembly I tested the cluster on the bike. Tacho worked, centre display worked, warning lights worked. Obviously I would have to ride the bike to test the speedo.

Refitted all screws, plugged in wiring, screwed down the p-clip.

Frame held on with nuts, outer cover with 3 more screws and the unit was good to fit.

I'll play with the left-overs later...
