Carrying on from where I left off:

This is the view of the back of the main circuit board showing the wired links to the tacho and speedo underneath.

A gentle wiggle is enough to remove the connector from the board.

The main board now lifts off, leaving the clocks loosely sat in the bezel.
When the board is removed, two plastic pegs will drop out. These are the push-rods for the instrument buttons, one either side. You can see on propped up in the corner of the bezel.

And as if by magic, the clocks are on the bench. The 2014 clocks have a satin black background with an orange needle.

The 2017 versions have a dark green background with white needles, red tip and chrome centre cover.
