This lack of quality (genuine, not just perceived) will come back and bite Honda in the future, I'm sure. Gold Oxide has noted that UK owners of Africa Twins are already commenting on this. Now we're doing the same with CB1100s. How many other model's Owner Groups are doing the same? It might be a trickle of comments now - Honda has to be aware that it doesn't become a torrent. Remember Harley and the chrome falling off their wheels?
