Bose QC20 - am I too .... dumb ?

I used to use qc20’s but the wire would always get tugged on and become miserable. I use apple AirPod pros with noise canceling now. I use a thin neck gator to help put them on, but also because taking the helmet off wants to pop the ear pods out. The gator stops them from falling on the ground. Not perfect but it sure beats the extra wind noise.
