I’ve had the Honda CB1100/A/SA/CA/NA Service Manual for 2013-2017 for about a week. I’ve spent some time going through it, and the 2017 EX and SC models are definitely treated as an afterthought. They’re not well documented in text or illustration. Typically, a section will begin with a heading 2013-2016 which might be six or eight pages, for example. That’s followed by a two page section titled “Models after 2016”, covering the 2017 EX and SC. There is absolutely nothing about the 2017 EX LED headlight. This is especially disappointing, as I am trying figure out how to install a headlight modulator on my ‘17 EX.
One thing I cannot complain about is the fold out wiring diagram for the EX and SC. It is the best I’ve ever seen in any service manual.
