Edit: Nevermind, found them easily https://www.ebay.com/itm/143736471858?ha...SwphhfX0Iq

But I fail to see how they are different (or even better) than OEM shock absorbers.

Agree, these might be a useful cheap replacement if your OEM shocks were well past it but I fail to see much else of value in them.

I would rather spend on decent shocks and improve the ride. If I had clapped out OEM shocks on my CB I would swap them out for some German Wilbers 640 TS Road, not cheap at €1099 (for the pair, including huge sales tax here), but they will be custom sprung and damped to your weight and riding style and come with a five year warranty. Adjustable rebound too. I have a Wilbers Monoshock on my old Daytona 1200 and it has utterly transformed the bike from what was an admittedly shagged out 25 year old OEM monstrosity.

The Queen must really like this?

Cormanus is correct of course but having said that the Queen is from German stock so she would be happy me giving my money to the Germans. The family name came the German House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. Queen Victoria was the last monarch of the Royal House of Hanover. She was married Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, with whom she had nine children.

The first World War unsurprisingly made the Royal Family name a little uncomfortable for them and they changed the name to Windsor in 1917, much more palatable for a population who were well po'd at the Germans at the time!
