Unfortunately I think you were going to get the same answer once you actually get down to the details with any of the shops.
There is a lot more to tuning an ECU than most people are aware of.
So when you have an uncommon bike, the odds that a shop takes the time to build a file for something they wont sell a lot of is virtually none.
So get a power commander, and yes many shops will tell you they will tune it – but the reality is they are not going to spend the many hours it takes to tune every throttle position at every RPM under load.
Even if they tell you it will be “custom “ it is still just good enough.
Will most people notice the difference?
No, so it comes down to you how good you want it to be.
The cost difference between them tuning the power commander and buying the autotune box and bung welding is probably comparable.
All depends on what you want.
For most people- the generic Dynojet file is probably good enough. You can still manually tweak it yourself without the autotune- but you will be flying by the seat of your pants.
