HTML in signatures not working?

I was working to prevent links in signatures and messed something up. As things stand now, signatures work fine as long as there's no code in them. Keep 'em simple and all is well. I might get this fixed, but don't hold your breath, or we could just scrap them altogether as E11even_Hunnit suggests.
