Has anyone installed a louder horn?

On the subject of horns ... the other day I came to a very confused intersection just over a rail line. I had to turn right across the main run of traffic which was turning left. It was not immediately clear who had right of way. I slowed — maybe even stopped — to figure it and was immediately blasted by an impatient fellow astern of me. Fair enough, I guess, but I wasn't going to get driven into for his convenience.

When I was reviewing what happened, I realised his blasting me with his horn achieved two things: first it probably made him happy (or at least relieved some of his stress); and, secondly, it slowed me down further as I had to identify the source of the blast and what it might mean for me before proceeding. In the end, it cost him a couple of microseconds that he wouldn't have lost had he kept his cool.
