Right Rdprdp01, I think I have a handle on you now, I'm going to drive you nuts. The CB1100 has a pre moulded space under the seat for a Honda supplied U-Lock. However, this lock is no longer sold by Honda. You can look under your seat and see the empty mould space for it, how can you not put something there once you see it?

I was lucky that olafurarason from Iceland had a high quality French lock for sale that is an exact fit and I bought it scratching an itch I had about it. Sorry, had to do it.....

There is absolutely nothing you or any of the other Forum brothers could suggest or explore with me that I would not enjoy. There is no point of diminishing returns for me—only the satisfaction of knowing I am a good stewart of the motorcycle and benefiting from some scary smart folks. I am already addicted to the motorcycle. Every purchase of equipment or gear makes me happy far more than it should! Keep it coming. David
