I bought a KZ550Ltd cruiser style bike because I liked the looks and thought touring would be easy. Dang seat about killed my bum! Didn't know about custom seats back in those days (other than the huge king queen seats for 750's and Goldwings - which make Russell Day Longs look good).

So looks can be deceiving. A long ride or three will show any short comings. As they say, wisdom comes from a lot of bad experience....
