Pretty simple-big tq at low rpm makes for an easy ride, pull from a stop, passenger, etc.
If the tq drops off quickly, you will have no hp, and no real accel as you will need to shift which itself lowers mechanical tq multiplication.
If you can hold the tq level to a higher rpm, you can take advantage of gearing and accelerate faster.
That being said- the first post of this thread is silly and pointless.
