Personally, I think it's a great looking bike. Since one of my all-time favorite ex-bikes was an '83 GS1100e, it was definitely on my short list until the CB arrived on the scene, and I was taken with its classic styling, which obviously won out in the end.
That said, other than an upright-ish seating position, the two bikes aren't in the same class at all. The Bandit is what the UJM evolved into, the CB is a modern take on what the UJM was.
This news may just put the Suzuki back on my radar - great price, and I really do like a faired bike, and this just one "hits all my spots".
