No qualms at all about the Bandits performance numbers. In the article it's described as one of the last "UJM's". Not sure I agree with that. Would take a lot more than a straight 4 and 4 into 1 exhaust to qualify for that moniker. It would have to look a lot more like the CB right out the gate to even come close.....meaning dropping the mono shock for a rear twin set-up, hump backed tank, raised dual step seat etc. to say nothing of the fairing. Then there's the issue of the styling in general.

It may just be me but the Bandits styling was eclipsed as far back as 1984 by Honda with this.

Of course, all of this is a matter of taste and as we all know there's no accounting for it. The Bandits strong suit appears to be the low entry price to play with it's 1250cc mill. If I didn't have the CB sitting in my garage bay I might be interested enough to go look at the Suzuki. Since I do I'm not.
