You did the exchange because you wanted the extra fairing protection I assume or was there another particular reason?
For a short period it was also on my list....

After a few weeks since I had my bike, I met up with a CBF1100 rider, who wanted to see my CB1100EX, cause he was thinking of exchanging his CBF for a CB1100

He had the older model, with the dual exhaust.
After seeing his bike, I was glad I bought a CB1100.
Fit and finish is still Honda on the CBF, but imo, the CB1100 feels more premium in many parts, the little details.

Saw a review on youtubeand the new model did look a bit cheap in fit n finish.

Anyway, congrats with the new bike, the power should be awesome.

That is my thought too. However Django could not be blamed for not sharing this view, and I quote:

There is also rust below the fenders and at the lower bridge.
Some others have also reported some issues in this area. My '10 model has held up well and any bits that don't look so good can be put down to hard use.
