I have zero interest in the Zero or any electric motorcycle. Range is the issue. Also the power band. Sure they make great torque off the bottom but that's not what most riders really want (especially based on the tire life most guys seem to be getting around here). A nice, predictable spread of power works much better.
I know that can be designed in, and ultimately it will be. Another thing is all that EMF. And batteries have been known to leak and explode. Even Boeing wasn't able to get it right the first time (787).
