I remember that thread now. I have a XR650L that mechanicly is driving me nuts and taking too much money. Love being tall and high, the deep deep suspension travel and about 100lbs lighter than the CB500X. But it has a carb. As reliable as a 1970 snowmobile, mileage sucks, vibrates (not a real deal breaker but with all the other annoyances it's starting to be) - just sells one thing and delivers something else. Sigh.....
